If I was to put an EL engine into my EB would I still be able to use my original ancillaries and belts set up that I currently have?
Or
Would I be able to run the serpentine belt setup using the standard EB manifold? How hard would this be to do? I think I have heard about clearance problems. I dont want to use the EL manifold.
Thanks guys
Dan

You can use the original ancilliaries if you want, it's just a matter of un-bolting the EL stuff and bolting on the EB stuff in it's place. Everything lines up perfectly.
For the second question, yes you can use your EB manifold, but you'll need XH tensioners to clear the manifold because they ran the serpentine belt with a EA style manifold.
Hey Dan..I'm running my EA belt setup on my engine which is an EF 4.0. I put an EB timing cover and balancer on it. And everything else bolted straight up like the 3.9 EA motor.

Cool, thanks for your help guys.
I wont start this project for a while. I need to do some basic mods to the car first. Lowering, clear indicators, tinted windows, put my stereo back in etc etc.
EASPRINT-How is your dizzy setup? Do you have the wolf controlling the EF coil pack?
