Question EA dash into XF

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone knows if a dash from and EA would fit into an XF without too much trouble?

Are the wiring loom connectors the same and so on.

If anyone has done this or knows of what other bits are interchangeable between the EA and XF that would be great

Cheers

BEN

Re: EA dash into XF

yer i have seen it done, but dont know how much work was involved i did a fibreglass custom xf dash instead, i was toying with the idea of making a later model dash fit but instead i glassed up my xf dash and made it smooth as glass and red lol.

im curerently doing the same to the door trims. hope that helps just another idea for u. but yer seen it done dont know how easy they go in the ea dash ,

Re: EA dash into XF

dash wont fit straight out, wiring is not the same, can be mostly rewired to suit.

I was running full XH setup (dash, cluster, indicator/wiper stalks, steering coloum etc). rewired the lot, bit of a mission but if your keen...

Now Im running an EB 4.0, Iv checked the wiring and that slightly than XH/XF, Its full stripped again and Im gonnna run EB looms.
