EA/ED ECU question?

My dad is thinking about putting my ED XR6 engine into his EA II Fairmont but I'm not sure if the EA ECU will run the XR6 engine.

Anyone know if we'll need a different computer?

Thanks
Steve

EA II = 3.9l, ED XR6 is of course 4.0l. Get the ECU, loom etc with the engine and install the lot.

Hey Steve,

I am guessing your loom and EEC was BBQ'd... Try a wreckers. I saw that one place in Narellan was wrecking an EDXR6 last week.
