I was reading the Where's the power in the windsor? post and there was a comment about ford not using the 351W in the EL GT because it didn't fit. That got me thinking and i replied about i have heard 11 EB GT's were released with a 351. (I know that the #250 EB GT's were the 302W block with the GT40 heads)
I saw one in the trading post about a year ago and also heard word of mouth but no official documentation to support it.
My question is has anyone else heard of these 11 EB 351 GT's or know about them or is it just purely word of mouth that has got out of hand??

There was a prototype cobalt blue EA GT 351 made with a 351 windsor. It was never released however and is currently residing in the Ford Discovery Centre I think. If you do a search you will find more information, but you could start here
As for the 11 EB GT's with 351's Ive never heard of them....until now.
I think were your getting ballsed up is, there were 10 EBGT "P" cars{pilot build} and 11 ELGT "P" cars built, that mabe were the story is getting of the track. There was a EAGT with a 351 but it was never released.. Hope this makes it a bit clearer for you...

The car was Originally Red.
I know of a couple of EB/D's with late model F Truck 351's in them, they are just a little taller.
