hi guys and gals. just a lil inquiry. i have just bought my first car (im 16 nearly 17), its a EB2 S-xr6, manual, Black pearl, 127k, 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust and EF 16" xr8/6 mags. i was wondering if i were to get say 130 rwkw, would it be able to produce a time like Qwikcorty's EA?
i know it might be a lil bit heavier then the EA, but i figure it still should crack a high 14 with a great run if i give it a cam etc..?
my bro owns a garage so im gonna go get it dynoed there asap to see what it'll do. what should i excpect?

If you are happy with it - then it's a good buy! Kms are low, and its a manual to boot, as majority seem to have been autos! I haven't seen too many eb xr6's in black either...

Beautiful car mate - a true classic in my opinion. Take good care of it.

If you've got good extractors with the exhaust system, then the only other thing I'd recommend is a intake mods and a cam. You've already got a internal head mods from Tickford. Also note, QuikCorty's 14 second times were run with the left headlight replaced with a large air intake system.

Nah mate, aint got a dig cam or scanner, but hey it looks good! i wanna lower it, Clear side and front idicators, Tint it, and then mod the engine a bit. it'll look tuff as guts, all black, low, indicators and the mags to add a bit of white. but n e way what im getting at is will i be able to produce a time like Qwikcortys EA if i have a similar output? i think its awesome how he's getting good times and power out of the light EA. maybe i should send him a message or setup a different thread in a diff. forum?

If you have the same output, the car would be slower due to the extra weight - but having said that, you have a better diff ratio so it would be interesting. Also things like tyre pressures make a difference.

It does sound nice, but black is a real pain to look after, so isred foor that matter. :(
