hi evry1. i just got my first car, its a 1992 EB2 S-XR6, Black Pearl, 5spd, 16" EF XR mags and the rest i cant be botherd typin. what i wanna know is that will i be able to get similar 400m times in my car if i have a similar output to Qwikcorty's EA? i figure 130rwkw should get me 14's on a good run? any info would be great! thanx guys.
ohh yeh... how much should i expect to pay for Clear Front and side indicators? has any1 put in the ed xr twinlights in there EB from the company "TwinLight"? or should i just get an xr front.... how much doh?

Congratulations on the purchase dude, sounds like a nice car. How much did u pay?
Id expect low 15s over the quater in an stock EB xr6.
Clear front indicators are about $30 - $40 each depending on where u get them. http://www.ozeparts.com.au/ has them for $33. Heeps of people use the twinlights. Basicly coz its a hell of alot cheeper than an XR fron end, even one from the wreckers.

I'm looking at around $200 for a pair of genuine ED XR indicators - whether you'd stretch to these would depend on your budget. Similarly, the Twin Lights are from memory around the $450 mark, compared to $1000+ from Ford. That said, you might track down a quad headlight front end from a wrecker for a good price.

if u put a good exhaust on it and the same cam as me, ud be able to putt better times down than i!, cos of the xr's 3.45lsd. and that particular cylinder head has good flow stock too, much better than a ea head.

nice sounding car anyways, i wanted a black eb xr6 but they costed too much!

If you get ED XR6 clear indicators, they have the option hole in it for your parker lamps, which are well worth it if your considering Twinlights or XR headlights. I recently bought Twinlights for my EB, $540 unpainted, then painting can range from $110 - $300. I got a price on ED XR headlights, $500 per headlight and $360 for front cover/grill so that totals about $1500 painted. I would have much rathered purchasing the real deal. Choose wisely

If it costs 1.5 k, you may as well have bought the ED in the first place.

I think the EB looks good without the quad light treatment. But definetly go for the clear indicators.

i cant get no pics of it on cause i dont have a digital cam or scanner, but i'll tell ya a bit about it. I'm 16, almost 17. i sold my 2001 WR400F so i could afford it with out parents help. i haggled it down from 9,000 ono to 8500 cash. not a bad buy i reckon, but i aint got much money left!!! lol. well its done 127k, its a manual, its got a 2.5 inch mandrel bent "Redback" exhaust (sounds tuff!), single cd player, and other stuff i cant think of. in the near future i wanna put clear indicators on, lower it, tint it, and work the engine to about 130rwkw hopefully, maybe even put some EL GT mags or Series 2 TE50 mags to top it off. Cant wait to take it out and cruise, better yet the summernats! in fact i wouldnt mind doin a great ocean road cruise with all u guys next time 1's on! cheers

I am watching out for EB XR6s for sale, spotted an ED XR6 last saturday for $7700 but when I rang the guy monday it had been sold...spewin!
