my falcon has idling problems when cold.I did the computer test (koer)which gave me the codes 12 and 13.
does anyone know how to tell if the isc solonoid is faulty?

Clean it and check that air inlet temp and inlet coolant temp sensers are working as they work together..Adjust idle with isc disconected,then put back on...
Also check the purge solinoid behind left front light.It's connected to purge canister.If its on open all the time the engine picks up a rich condition and tries to adjust by rising rpm/ allowing more air to lower afr's....

yeah thanks , ill check all that out.
I pulled the solonoid off and pulled it apart.It was a bit sticky but still seemed to be functioning ok.Put it back on and the car still seemed the same.wriggled the wiring and it seemed to come good.
