Re: EB XR6 vs ED XR6

The EBII XR6 had 4lt badges on the front wings, and an XR6 sticker under the Falcon S badge.

The only reference on the car is the XR6 sticker below the falcon s badge located on the rear garnish. There is a tickford symbol on the rocker cover as well... The badges didn't start until the ED's.

Re: EB XR6 vs ED XR6

By 7 mins mate, your getting slow.
Just a bit of usless trivia.
The EB XR6 Sticker is acctually the same shape as the XR6 badge on the EF/EL.
so i dont know where the design for teh ED XR6 badge came from, but it looks better than the EF/L one.
But im biased.

Re: EB XR6 vs ED XR6

Yo Kerry,
I agree with you on the ED badge, IMO it looks a lot better than the EB sticker.

My computer is taking it's time tonight... Some pages are taking up to 5 mins to finally open, then click on quote, and it takes another 5 mins.... Ah well, can't win 'em all... So you going to make an appearance in Canberra on Sunday?

the ebxr6 also has the xr6 badge on the front gaurds above the tickford badge it does have the red tickford motor and also has the small boot spoiler and the sports seats also the small sticker below the s badge. momo steering wheel and the xr mags, great car and was really no different from my old ed xr6 just i liked the twin lights more

Re: EB XR6 vs ED XR6

ive got an eb xr6 for sale, and driven ed xr6, with the upgraded computer, exhaust and extractors the eb won over the ed and keeps up with the el xr6 stok. in the ed the front xr lights wot defines it as an xr but i prefer the standard lights as i dont like it in this model. its relly your preference. theres not much more cept the xr 4x lights thats different between the two. both same power not sure bout weight.
if ur interested in buyin mine email me at courtneys-g@hotmail.com

Re: EB XR6 vs ED XR6

Hey guys, new here. Have owned both EB and ED XR6 and would just like to clarify a few things; Momo steering wheel was called Daytona 3, and wasn't standard on EB or ED; Wheels where 15" X 7" on both, EB had twin exhaust after the cat, ED only single. No 'XR6' badge on EB guard, just 4.0 in red, ABS standard on both,
Some ED's had 'ABS' sticker in white under "FALCON XR6" badge on boot garnish, some didn't, Red inserts in F&R bars and side moulds was different colour to S(EB) or classic(ED), deep red colour, not orange. thats about it thanks.
