XF's never.. 'never'.. had the same looking wheel as on any 'E' series Falcon, I've had plenty of XF's, which is a totally boring car.. (Yes I'm that old but I'd never admit it)..
What one needs to do with any parts change (however simple it may seem to be) is check other things it might change as well..
Just because something bolts on doesn't mean it will work ok, especially where electrics or elecronics are concerned..
Think of it like a computer.. It's great when the bits are right.. but mix odd bits and odd things happen..

ok i was a bit uppy too.. thing is though, dont get the impression that i changed this steering wheel as i didnt. this is how i bought the car. i didnt know what this was off...i thought it might have been an EA till i seen this thread. the horn works in the normal XF style....the blinker stalk. obviously there is something missing as in a plate and the electrics being hooked up in the EB wheel as when i push it there is nothing under the cover,
all i want to know is if it will be easy to make the horn work through the steering wheel again as thats what im used to......whoever thought that it was a good idea to put a button on the end of a blinker stalk and make that the horn has obviously never driven a car. mashing in to the horn in rage loses its affect if you have to try and find the end of your blinker stalk and to add insult to injury you usually turn your blinker on in the process.
