HI, to all as this is my first post........... i have a question is it possible to swap my ecu (99 fairmont ghia vct 6cly) to a xr6 vct ecu..????? that way i hope to get adaptive shit, remove the speed limit, and a few more ponies..Or am i looking for trouble????...
Well, you wont remove the speed limit, you'll just increase it to 210kph, not that anyone would consider going that speed on the road.
I'm not sure if you would get any major power improvement, the Fairmont VCT's were exactly the same except for the exhaust. You would probably be better off spending the money on that.
