Is ther anything i should look for in a ED fairmont with 105ks with LPG?

yep...I'd look for a motor, 4 wheels, a gearbox and diff myself....

nah seriously, ED pretty much had all the issues from EA-EB sorted (bar the head gasket). I'd look at the general condition of the engine bay, rattles or noises in it, make sure it runs well on both gas and petrol, look for oil leaks, make sure there is plenty of power steering fluid in it etc etc.

Basically just look over the whole car with a keen eye. I wouldnt expect rust, rear doors and sills would be a good place to check out thoroughly though.

my EF had 108,000km's on it and 15 thou later i've had no problems.

Just a qustion, would an ED with low ks be a better car then a early EF1 with 160ks?

Fck me. Why couldn't I have stumbled across that deal six months ago? I picked up my ED with 156K kms for $5300 :) It's a gem.

Good luck with it and don't let it pass - snap it up as soon as you can.

Yeah...$5,500 is pretty good...my EBII Fairmont was $5,500 with 103,000kms on the clock - took me about 4 months to find.

...as long as the condition is consistent with the kms. So check the interior, pedal wear, seat wear, seatbelts - should all be in fairly good conditions at those k's. Of course, if it's been parked outside often some of the plastic/vinyl will still degrade.
