ED XR6

well i drove one today, 5sp tickford.

they are ****en fast and have sooo much pull, and as they go up the revs, they hold smooth as anything, you can feel the torque bigtime. Not as smooth or comfy as the EA CFI but it gets to 120km/h in a rediculous 6.5 seconds, blue, perfect paint and interior, HM headers, enhanced exhaust, and doesnt rumble at 115km/h on the freeway

done 165,000km's and been serviced professionally by ford every 5,000k's, one owner, and im thinking of accepting his offer of $7,900

what do you guys think ?.....i really dont want a sporty rough manual i want a smooth automatic, but after feeling that pull and the way it doesnt rumble at 115km/h.......i think it would be almost an investment.

GET IT

Ben that is a VERY GOOD DEAL cheap.........its way under market value, i suggest get a rac vehicle inspection and if it shows up well then get it!!!!!!!!! i know i would. 0-120km/h in 6.5sec is a bit exagerated isn't it

Re: GET IT

5sp tickford with extractors and exhaust.....not really

it was actually 7 but i figured i cant gear as good as a professional or someone who has owned a manual for a long time and decided half a second could easily come off...

whats the market value ?.....it was $8500 and i talked him down because i didnt think it was worth it......maybe if it was an 8..

Re: GET IT

Id believe 0-100 in 7secs, not 120..
Anyhow, i seen an ED XR6 at a car lot along logan Rd
yesterday and it was priced at $12,990 so id say go for it!

ED XR6

ben, if you have the dosh then what are you waiting for. Go buy it mate, that is a bargain.

Speaking of ED XRs my brother was scanning the trading post looking for parts and came across an ED XR8 at some auction place with slight panel damage for like $4500 or something like that.
