Hi All,

I'm currently looking at an ED XR6 - but it seems it doesn't have cruise control (well not that I have seen). Where are the cruise control "controls"? Could you knock CC off the build list to make it cheaper? Did manuals not come with CC?

I can't find doco on this on web sites....

Cruise control is steering wheel mounted like in the middle of the wheel, theres two buttons.

I just had a look on the computer and the following was standard / optional on the ED.

It says Cruise was standard.

But was Cruise standard/option/available with manual transmission?

So does that mean the car i'm looking at buying, if it doesn't have the cruise buttons on the wheel (it's a manual) then its unlikely its a real XR6?

I'm confused :(

Cruise was not Standard, it was an option.
And yes you can get cruise on a Manual Falcon.
Mine has cruise.

Yes thats another one.
It was Standard on the EB XR6/8 but an optionon the ED except the Sprint where it was standard.

Ahhh that explains a lot now :)

Here I was going to blow this dealer away saying wtf? no cruise? its not an XR6 then! :)

looks like you have it sorted now, but just to confirm, no cruise was not standard...!

mine is a manual and has cruise optioned on
