EF Falcon Bonnet

hi,

im new to these forums, this would be my first post... i own a stock 96 EF Falcon "classic"

now my problem is, i seem to have had an accident and will be needing a new bonnet, i was just wondering, does anyone know whether a EF XR6 bonnet will fit, with the current lights etc, they have the cool vent things, i wouldnt mind one

also, anyone know where i can get cheap bonnets, im in dubbo regional nsw.

Cheers
Greenie

Re: EF Falcon Bonnet

the vents are just screwed thru any bonnet.. go to your local wreckers for a bonnet and you can get the vents from SSV.com.au for $66..

enjoy your stay

Re: EF Falcon Bonnet

It will fit, and the XR bonnet is not the same as a std one, the XR bonnet has stampings in it for the vents which are actually functional. The aftermarket stuff just sits on top of the bonnet and IMO look crap, note also the XR bonnet doesn't have the same crease lines as the std.

Re: EF Falcon Bonnet

not all aftermarket vents sit on top. some require to cut through, i know SSV has both types.

The stick on ones are for Excel's and Civics anyway. You have no idea how many Hyundais I see with EF style bonnet vents, drives me crazy!
