EF V8 Falcon chaser
Hey guys, this looks like a knowledgable place, I have an Ex chaser EF V8 that I bought straightfrom auction on WA a few years ago with 35000kms on it, it's now got 130000km on it and still going hard and is in perfect nick ( I've looked after it), and I still have the original rims fitted, althought I was tempted to fit some alloys for a while, but my eyes are starting to wander now, so my first question is, what is different about these cars from the standard version GLi V8s, I know they have a different dash and a few extra oil coolers, lowered from factory and LSD etc, but what else make them different. there has to be something because not all the insurance companies will talk to me when I mention the words Ex Chaser, and everytime I have gone to a ford dealer they are reluctant to tell me anything, but seem keen to trade it from me, is there anything that makes them worth keeping, I notice the compliance plate has a OPT20 on it, yet when I call Ford they don't go into specifics with me, maybe I'm asking the wrong questions.
and my final question, I put some Pacemakers on a few years back, but now I'm looking at a twin system, can anyone recommend an exhuast fitter in the Newcastle (NSW) area that can do the job for me at a good price.
