Sounds like a good car, if it's been looked after than 149k on the clock especially for a Windsor V8. Do the usual and don't leave a stone unturned check the radaitor and listen to the engine.
Also when driving listen and feel how the auto changes gears, should be smooth and no jolts or thumps. When accelerating hard gears should kick down reasonably urgently.
Also i've had a look at the EF Fairmont V8 market and most of them have relatively high km's as owners of V8's tend to do alot of hwy driving. The one you found sounds like a nice buy. Whats more if it has a genuine Tickford Body kit identified by the Tickford plate you'll be a full member in the club.
