is there a diagnostics mode for the odometer area?

someone said that you can get a temp reading to display?

yeah dude...i've done this a few times...but that was aaages ago. It appears we have the same car..so this should work:
-turn ign to accessory
-hold in odometer reset button, turn ket to on
-release button, the press 3 times and hold on 3rd time until seatbelt warning light goes out. Screen goes blank.
-FOrD flashes a couple of times, then the things come up.
u can get RPM and speed, Temperature, Distance to empty (i think), instantaneous and average fuel consumption, what gear ur in.
To scroll forwards thru ur options (15 total) press the odometer reset button. To go backwards, i think you hold it for about 2 seconds and release..it should go backwards. When ur done, just hold it down till it comes back to odo.
