Well I have finally picked up my new car, it's a Heritage Green EL GLi, and I can tell you its FANTASTIC!!

Anyway I have a few questions about it....

1. The rear demist button...does it have a light to tell you when its on? when I press it I can hear the relay clicking but I dont know if it's turning on or off, so is there supposed to be a light on the dash or something?

2. Does any other EL owner feel a slight vibration through the accelerator pedal? I have checked under the bonnet to make sure the cable wasnt resting against something but it appears to be fine.

Other than that I havent found any more problems/annoyances.
Its done 115000 k's has been serviced every 10000k's, and I'm the second owner.

Hmm . . . it should have a light on the dash ( near the odometer ) to tell you if its on or not . . . my guess would be the bulb in the dash has bitten the dust. New globes are cheap, and its not hard to change ( although you need to pull off the dash surround ) - check www.fordmods.com for info on this one ( look for neon dash conversion - it will tell you how to remove the dash surround and instrument cluster . . .

On the Vibration . . . nfi sory :(

Gratz on the new car . . . all you need now is to fit the turbo

Oh ok I'll tackle the light on the weekend.

As for the Turbo...the Mrs. would shoot me if I even mentioned it, she's already let her disgust be known an my intention of fitting extractors, exhaust, mags and lowering it.....she'll live :)

i *think* i got a slight vibration though the accel in my EF.
but that may just be me
i'm not sure, i'd have to test it to see what u mean!
