Does any one know the factory claimed figures, or from Motor or Wheels mag for the 0-100 times and 1/4mi times of a stock EL. Preferably manual, auto will do though..

I think the factory figures were 0-100 8.7 / 0-400m 16.2 / Top Speed 180km/h* for automatic, 0-100 8.1 / 0-400 15.8 / 225km/h for manual.

*governed to 180km/h.

Why did ford put the limiter on? Sure youre never going to get to that speed unles you drive in the stuart highway but seriously why do that do they think well if poeple are going to break the limit lets not let them do it by more than 70km. Errr!

The limiter is on there, as the std driveshaft on these cars cant handle anything more then 180 as they had a habit of snapping on you

Pretty good reason to limit the speed to 180kph i think
