yest i pulled up next to a EL XR8(manual) and i could see the guy wanted to give it a squirt so i was like yeh wateva. i was in my EF 6cyl which has cold air and a set of 411's diff gears and a 3" pipe from the Airbox to the Throttle body.
To cut a long story short we raced 3 times and i got em all three times to about 140km\h. i woulda throught he we done alot better then that!

Thanks for the post, despite the many spelling and grammar errors, I eventually managed to get the gist of what you were trying to say. However, given that it is me that you refer to in your post, I have a few issues with what you have said…mainly because it is mostly made up and quite misleading. Following are the points that I would like to dispute:
1. My XR8 is an EF not an EL.
2. We raced only once.
3. I had large traction issues, which we spoke about, and despite this, managed to make up my lost ground by just after the intersection; something you decided to make no mention of in your post.
4. You may have got to 140km/h, but my speedo never broke 100km/h, didn’t you notice that I was decelerating when you overtook me? Probably not. You were too busy taking what I like to call the “wanker victory”, that is, finally managing to catch up and overtake once the other person has declared him/her self victorious and given up.
It is a real shame that you feel it necessary to post a story with such large deviations from the truth. I will admit that your car is quite quick for a 6, and it looks good too.
If you are insistent on having such a recognisable car, then you must learn not to bend the truth, or blatantly lie, as people will continue to catch you out, and you will loose credibility on these forums very quickly.
