Hi Dumbarse
I do respect your opinion. But what I was getting at is that the clutch in these HI powered V8s and 6T are on the edge of there limit. Whereas other performance viehcals clutches & pressure plates are built tough to handle the power and fast gear changes such a Nissan skyline GTS & GTR, both have a remarkable drive train that is nothing short of being bullet proof. As the saying goes
a chain is only as strong as it weakest link.
and the XR8s and 6ts are sold a Hi performance veihcals, am I not wrong?.
When you speak to the dealers when buying the car they tell you that there are as tough as nails. I have to admit I am a little disappointed in my BA XR8 ute (lack of power below 3000rpm, floaty front end suspension, fuel gusler compared to the AU2 XR8, and the clutch) otherwise it is a beautiful car and I love it even if it does have a few faults. Anyhow I am going to try changing the clutch fluid( as the ford tech advised ) and using Motul RBF600 which has a boiling point of 312 degrees(doing the brakes to). A
And if it is still no good I will see Mal woods.
On a brighter note I will be doing another video for you all to droooool over.
On Jan 27th I am doing a Hi performance driving course in my own car. so I can not wait and the video and driving will all be legal so no Issues with the law
And Bumbarse you should change your ID as you are not a dumbarse at all.
And to all have a very safe and happy Christmas
and safer motoring. I want to see you all back here in the new year not, If you no what I mean.
Matt
