Can anyone give me an idea on what the difference was with the xe esp suspension geometrey,,ive read they are different to the std falcon,,is it the stub axle ,,did they have a different steering box etc.

Ive got one mate and I'll be buggered if I know. Im thinking that it is probably just the wheel alighnment was revised to suit the wheel/tyre combo and lower ride height and upgraded bars and shocks.

I have heard that the XD's had 16:1 steering boxes when equipped with manual steering, but have yet to see one. XE's as far as i know had revised springs, bars and shocks.

Thanks soooo mutch for the replys guys,,yer i just thought maybe they had a different steering box or stub axle or something but i guess not,,im using an xa gt steering box 16to1 for it ,,bolts straight in.

the steering on the XE is revised from earlier models, but not specific to the ESP. I think the length of the steering arm on the stub axle is different, which allows for a better steering lock. And Im pretty sure all XE ESPs have power steer as they are all F/mont ghia's.
