I want to hear from people that have opted to extend the warranty on their AUs for another 3 years and up to 160000klm.

What work have you had done under this warranty and is it worth the $1k+?

I bought a AUII Futura with extended warranty a few years back. Basically every service there was something fixed under warranty. The most notable one was the replacement of the whole exhaust system.
I have just upgraded to a BA XR6 and will be diffently paying the $800 or so dollars for the extended warranty. Well worth the money to me

I bought AUIII 35000K with the extended warranty in OCT04. So far had upgraded fuel pump put in and just had 45000K service and no probs. Mods include full exhaust incl. extractors and they didnt ask a question. Very good service at Etheridge Ringwood!
