Your question was, would you get a KW gain from the mod you are about to preform.... the answer is, NO.

Reason. The mod you are doing is basicly a waste of time on a complete stock I6. the air intake is not that much better then the stock pod set up, So it will hardly make improvment over what you have now. Also you car would hardly make enough KW to start suffering from lack of air due to air intake restriction.......

No I have not done a dyno before and after with the mod your talking about, and why would I.

If you made any KW gain at all, the absolute most you will see is 1-2KW.... you would get more performance gain by incressing your tyre pressure.

the differnce is not really with the power gains, it's engine response.
an engine that breathes better responds to inputs better.

i found that there was a definate improvement in throttle response when i did these mods. but nothing earth shattering. still... it can't hurt.

Well since my last post i have fitted the FPV F6 snorkel & the 2nd F6 CAI that goes behind the headlight along with the k & n filter that i fitted the week prior. I would endorce this mod for sure quite an improvement in throttle response & small improvement in economy. Ncye slighter louder induction sound as well. More than happy to recommend the above mod.
