Fair price for my XF - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hi all I,m a newbie here so please forgive me if I stuff up at all.
I know its a bit like how long is a piece of string, but I want to know a fair price to ask for my XF.
She's a 87(Oct) S pack, white in colour,211,767kms,Auto trans.
She's been regularly serviced and garaged until 2 years ago when we bought a new AU2.
I don't realy want to sell as she's been a bloody good car for me but I can't afford to keep 2 big cars anymore,and the missus has said if I buy her a smaller car I get the AU and I would love to make her look more like a XR.

what mods has it got? anything to make it stand out from the rest?
if its stock with a RWC then you could probably get around 2K i reckon.

Is it carby or fuel injected, does it run on unleaded or leaded, will influence price as well.

IT depends where you are. Here in Canberra XF's can be had for $1,500 to $3,000. At $3,000 the car would have to be in excellent nick.

No she's standard apart from some minor stuff,its carby & unleaded.

Good nick then, you may get 2,000 but only expect that if you have a Roadworthy for it, and still in rego.

I've decided that I can't do it.
No way its been to good a car to sell.
So I have talked the missus into letting me spend a bit on her and in 6 or so months my daughter will get her licence and can have her

At least I might still get to use her sometimes.

Has it got a full tank of fuel? Cos that will double it's value :-) hehe just kidding
