Fairlane Picture

Did any of you guys get the e-mail from Ford with the Fairlane piccy?

Looks better than the AU model for certain...

At least it looks something similar to the rest of the range, rather than looking like a rather nasty yank machine

I doesn't have that large "limo" look. Especially the boot area, looks a lot smaller than the NF/NL and previous models.
If you are going to pay $57,000 for a car, may as well look bigger.

On the ford site it says that it comes standard with the 220 V8, can you still get it with the six?

I saw the new Fairlane at the Melbourne motor show and as with BA it looks for better in the flesh and as described above the thing looks very long and low from the side as a good limo should. Only the interior was blacked out. Just think how good the BA compares to the VY in the looks dept. and imagine the Fairlane in the same situation against the Stateman. Only from front on does it look similar to the Fairmont at a quick glance however from the side it looks massive in length.
