Not sure if there is one in Victoria or not, but there doesn't seem to be one so I'm going to put out some feelers for anyone interested in being involved in a XD to XF Falcon/Fairmont Car Club.
Through my Job ( production manager at performance ford mag ) and my own photography business I have seen the continual brushing aside of this era of Falcons. Lets face it, most of us in my age group 25-35 have either owned one ourselves or it was our family car in the 80's when we were kids and there are shitloads of XF owners on this forum.
I myself own an XF ( second owner, 240kms, soon to be modded ) which is my second after owning another in my early 20's which had been in my family from the showroom in 1984 until i had it crushed in 2001.
Most people make fun of us, you know the ususal stuff, about driving taxis and having bbq's in the engine bay and its time we all united.
Here's what I'm thinking for stuff that the club could do as one:
-Drag Days
-Dyno Days
-Open Track Days
-Cruises ( imagine a hundred or so XD/E/F 's cruising down the Princes Freeway aka geelong rd )
-Monthly Get togethers
-BBQ's ( not in the engine bay

)
-Displays at car shows and even non car events
-Create a network of mechanical/technical contacts to help out instead just laughing and telling you to get a new car
That's just a few idea's I came up with quickly and its nothing that can't or hasn't been done by others before, but now its our ( XD-XF owners ) turn. We could have a real presence at events like the FPV Family Open Day ( where there were 5 XD-XF's ). Being in the publishing business, I am willing and able to produce a newsletter and get the club some ink in all the right places.
Anyone interested, post here or email

I really want to see this happen.
