It was the falcon was previously sold in the US.. as were the fairlane.
Hence if it was to reemerge into the US market I would guess it would carry these names once again.
Don't think Ford oz can fill any us orders.. look at holden, they are really going to struggle to make 18,000 monaros for the US market, and California wants everyone of those.
Given that Ford oz has substancial waiting lists in australia, at best they would be a trickel.. What they should do is make them over there. In the end that is what it comes down too. Let Ford OZ design, etc totally free reign, Ford US just manufacturers LHD versions. That way you could fill US and EU demand.
Holden is going to end up having to do this if they want more than ~30,000 us exports.
