I'm new here and have a question that I need answered pronto.

My Brother recently wrote his BA Falcon off and his Mags weren't covered on his insurance policy and thus he is getting no extra money for them. As he paid around 3 grand, for them, he wants them back.

Suncorp has advised that the car must have wheels and tyres and I located a set in the local rag today.

However, the seller wasn't clear on waht series they are off. Bit they are 16" alloys. He alludes that they are from an EA or EL, couldn't really tell, he sounded a bit dopey.

Anyway, the plan is to go round to his place this arvo (4pm QLD time) and test them on my car, a BF ute, which has the same pattern as the BA.

Well my question is, will these alloys fit, or will it be a waste of time?

Through various searches I've found that all falcon apparently have the same stud Pattern (5/114.3) but am concerned about the offset.

So will wheels from an EA-EL falcon fit onto a BA falcon. Please hurry with any answers, as this may be the only chance we can get a set of wheels at a reasonable cost.

EA-EL wheels have a different offset to AU-BF-FG wheels.

All falcons have the same stud pattern (5x114.3) as you mentioned, but its the offset thats different.

The car is written off . It only has to have wheels , do they have to be the correct ones ? as long as they bult on and rotate!

They will bolt on and rotate just fine.

as its been written off it should be fine.
