The other day i found out that my eb is an ex-cop car from Tassie. I was just wondering if anyone new what sort of chips they used to bring up the power and what sort of suspension they used.
found this out when the guy that fixed my power button(Ford mechanic) said that the 4.0 was definantly not standard, so he followed it up for me and said that i have an ex copper car.
He said that around 15kw was probably the only increase.

he'd be right about the 15kw

the chips make a massive difference.

i remember before i altered my ECU i would sometimes get into my car and need to pull away from a corner real quick and the revs would slowly get up and would rev loud and hard, but it wouldnt go very fast or accelerate very quick, other times it would be rolling at 20km/h, and kick down and nothing would beat it (well it would.....but, yeah..).............now its like this all the time..........im only hoping it isnt causing mechanical damage...the engine is A1 perfect compression, NO oil consumption, or water consumption, doesnt make noises or rattles and doesnt blow smoke even at startup, so im assuming its all good

chips ?

had some chips for dinner , but really about Ben saying that his car doesnt blow smoke , even at startup , well most '' smoke'' you see at startup with an EA is water vapour from the cat converter , not burning oil or unburnt fuel.
