A group of us just went out to checkout our works first BA. It's an XT Wagon in Acid Rush, one damn bright wagon.

It was also my first ride in a BA Wagon. A few things that the rep guys noted was how much better the air con is compared to the AU's. All agreed that the engine was smoother and has a nice exhaust note. I'm now curious what the wagon will weigh as it doesn't have the control blade rear end. It could just well be that the wagon might be the sleeper of the range having the same body style from the A pillar back.

But my conclusion is that Ford are really turning out these Barras in huge numbers. So much so that we noticed the tailgate was misaligned quite badly.

I hope to see our entire car fleet change to Barras by mid next year.

good news :) all except the second last paragraph, jeez i hope ford don't lose their quality. My boot on my car when i get it better be aligned or its going back!!

Yeah I too hope quality hasn't slipped. I will find out soon enough though, as the replacement for the XR6 VCT apparently arrives at the dealer today so it should be ready to go at the end of this week or early next week.

H'mmm let down by the dealers yet again.

I sat in an XR6 ute at my local dealer and immediately noticed that the centre console thingy lid (between front seats) was quite badly misaligned, refused to close properly. Hopefully it was just a one off...
