Fitting FPV kits into BA xr6

Hello friends, this is my first post so I would like to give a brief introduction about myself. I am a 22 year old guy living in Fiji islands and I drive a ba falcon xr6. I was informed about this forum from a friend living in Brisbane. I am and always will be a ford man.

Anyways ill come to the point. I had a question in mind which I hope my friends from these forums can answer. I wanted to fit FPV GT or typhoon body kits in my BA Falcon xr6. I know it not very ethical but I can’t afford the FPV and even if I could, my dealer has said they will not be able to import FPV cars into Fiji as Ford Australia doesn’t want to export it to Fiji considering the road conditions and poor fuel quality.

Does anyone knows or has tried to fit in Ford Typhoon Bonnet, Front and rear Bumpers, side skirts and spoiler into xr6 atmo? Also would like to know if I would need to buy twin exhausts if I opt for a FPV GT kit. Also would like to know the price of the kits anywhere in Australia so that I can make a personal import. I would be obliged if someone recommends a website where I can buy the kits from.

Hope to get a reply and wish to become a good member of ford forums.

Re: Fitting FPV kits into BA xr6

hey aku,

I bought a typhoon front bar of the awc site two weeks ago and I recieved it Thursday last week considering it took a couple of days for the money to clear I thought it was pretty quick, the front bar I got was in good condition and packed nicely. Now all I have to do is save a bit to get it painted.

Far as I know, the 'phoon bonnet should be the same as your XR. Unless you're keen on a lighter fibreglass or carbon fibre one.

Shouldn't have a problem there. Same bolt hole locations etc.
