Hi ,does anyone know the name of an error code extractor and where to get one?

You are talking about the tool that hooks up to the diagnostics port in the fuse box?

If so, you can just use a 12v LED or multimeter and a little bit of wire. In my manual, the 'proper' tool is called a ford star tester.
