Re: Ford Falcon BF E-Gas Mods....

let me guess ex taxi ya picked up cheap?

i used to have a ex taxi AU lpg dedicated and one of my mates is taxi driver so most of this should till apply (as most taxi drivers are tight with money)

get a bigger more grunty battery if you havent already there is small lip in the side of the battery holder smash that down and your new wider battery will fit.

the only limiting thing is the power steer pulley if you battery is too wide your battery will be ground down by the power steer pulley

exhaust, a good set of extractors will help. you can get rid of the cat converter, you dont need it as the lpg is higher octane and runs higher compression ratio (10:1) than petrol.

shut the tank off manually switch down the back behind rear wheel? and drain the converter of sludge and crud.

dont run your car at the bottom of the tank. lpg works best at the TOP of the tank eg drive it till it gets down to about 3/4 then top it up rather than drive it on 1/4 and topping it up when empty. the main reason i say this is you are running on the fuel not the vapours.

HOMER: can do things the right way, the wrong way or the MAX POWER way!
LISA: isnt the max power way the wrong way?
HOMER: yes but, FASTER!
