Ford killed my alternator, need advice...
Basically, couple months ago my power steering fluid ran out and it turned it I had a slight leak on the pump. Anyways, ~$400 later Ford "fixed" it, and 2 weeks later I got the squealing, and the power steering fluid was leaking. Ford said it wasnt fixed (and infact made worse cos it was literally pissing out)
They fixed it again and I asked them directly, "Will this kill my Alternator?" because I know through out all of this (two full tanks of power steering fluid) have leaked onto the Alternator...
To finish the story, last night my alternator died. Cars is sitting in the driveway dead as a doorknob (not starting) and I'll be taking it into Denmac Ford (Darra) 7am tomorrow mourning.
Do I have any lei-way in regards to this? RACQ guy said it basically because of this incident and I have the full receipts of the services Decmac Ford have done.
Obviously Ford will try to push off the blame, so how can I prove it? I just want to go in there with as much info as I can...
