Hi all,
every single time i have refueled my BAXR8 it has allway ended up with petrol being forced out all over the car and my feet!! Its really starting to bug me!! Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what did you do you fix it?

Im guessing its being caused by an air bubble or something?

Jim is that when it's up to half full? Because I had that issue with the XT in the first few weeks, I then ran it dry and it has been filling up no probs.

I always have this problem when I go to BP, one of my mates say's it happens to him as well.

This has never happened to me. I've found a couple of pumps that kept stopping early actually, not overspilling. I've always stopped at the first click.

this happened to me the first time i filled up and i filled up for the second time about 20mins ago and it was fine so i assumed it was just the pump i used the first time.

The BA sedans have a very narrow filler neck which contributes to the problem & it is a very common complaint.

I allways fill up at the last minute sort of thing so as to check how far i get on each tank (which isnt much:)), ive filled up at heaps of different places but the outcome is allways the same, i even stop for 30 odd second intervals to let the fuel settle but it still happens.
