did anyone else see the fairlane G220 ad during the state of origin just then???
i missed the start but it has a guy driving around in the g220 and people are looking and classy music is playing and he drives past a cheuffer (sp?) on the side of the road and it says
"Fairlane G220 Ditch the cheouffer (sp?)"
cool.

Only quickly saw it, and also missed the start. I was coming back from my tassie holiday and saw it on the spirit of tas. Did look like a good ad, except what turned my head around was the music, I thought it sounded crap....but I will have to wait until I see the ad properly without so many bloody people watching a stupid game.
Oh oh, now i've put my foot in it......

Now that I have seen the ad again, and from the very start with no people talking and annoying me, I think it is a really good ad, and the music does suit it. I love that slogan.

Yes it was a great holiday TS50, a place I have always wanted to go to. I don't mind the cold so it wasn't a problem. The only problem was that I didn't ask anyone on here which were the best places to go and eat etc. but I still think we went to some great places. The Port Arthur ghost tour was really good. That and the fact that we were in a Blueprint BA XR6.....my brother's car.

I didn't see a fairlane down there (had to bring the thread back on track somehow) and I was really amazed at the Falcons I saw in Hobart, it seemed as though the were all wagons....I couldn't work it out. I also noticed a distinct lack of XRs in the whole of tas, not sure why...

tassie is a poor state
if you think of it
all of Tassie only has 480,000 people, just a suburb of melb or syd. and Disposal income in Tassie isnt high. The other thing is, that because we are a fairly small state in area, and are very parohical to our areas, people rarely leave their own areas, so dont need a good car.
And for some reason, we seem to be a pretty big state for Holden.
I think there ate only 4, maybe 5 T3 series cars in tassie for instance
