Doggyboy EL Pioneer demo car Join Date: Apr 2002 Location: Cairns, QLD Posts: 16	Getting rid of the tool icon in EL after service... The topic says it all :p How do you get rid of the little tool icon that comes up when a EL is due for a service? I have just had it serviced and it came back with the icon still there... (i take it the mechanic didnt know how to get rid of it either?!?) Thanks :)

REDSTRIPE Registered User Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: MACCLESFIELD SA Posts: 23	From memory, turn on ignition (motor not running) depress trip meter "button" for 10 to 20 seconds and the symbol should disappear. We did this in an EF Ghia as described in that car's manual. Good luck.
