I think this article highlights what we've known all along which is that you're better off buying the BA Ford and boosting it's performance (if need be) which will give you a car that excel’s in almost all area's. The Calais and Clubsport are great powerful stock machines but they inherit alot of old technology that simply can't be 'tuned' out.

Now if we could only get Ford to pull their performance finger out...

Yeah I agree!, didnt notice what it was straight away, but did see it looked a little underdone! I still think they should have kept the 'positioning lights' they first came out with, they had such a presence on the road. I can still picture it! lol.

Ford are at the point where Holden was with their Exec Berlina and Calais in the VR and VS, you cant tell them appart any more. Other then a bii of chrome it looks like an XT!!! Pull you fingure out Ford because that is shocking!! What a joke...........

I think they used the old image from when Ford was shipping Ghias without any 'positioning' lights installed. The current Ford website shows the lights to be included.

My thinking is that the subtle look of the Ghia is a lot better than the tacked on bits and bobs of the Calais

That colour does NOT suit the Calais. I think that and the standard VZ front ends just look messy.
