Hi Ghia owners,

As you know the co-drivers wing mirror can be programmed to tilt when reversing. Well, I have had the car for over 9 months now and it has at times stuck in the reverse tilted/dipped setting and had to reprogram it. Yesterday, it went beserk and dipped past its end stop and kept clicking.

Turned off the engine and restarted and reprogrammed and all was ok. It did the same this morning when I was about to go to work. Did the same reprogram now it seems ok.

Anyone have a clue how to fix this or is there a fix at the dealer? Thanks

The mirrors on my Ghia have been fine (after I read the manual and stopped trying to adjust the drivers mirror - yes I know, rtfm before not after) but have had a very similar occurance with the drivers seat.

It hasn't happened again since the battery was disconnected letting everything reset. Ford believe the seat somehow lost position reference and just got lost for a while.
