Hey all, this question is on behalf of Rmyers...

He wants to know if $400 is a good price for a second hand garrett T3 turbo, possibly with manifold for an EA. This is all the info he gave me on it, he'll no doubt add more to this later...

hell yeah thats cheap maybe too cheap
get it looked at my a turbo place bearings arent easy to replace so ive heard, stuck wastegates "can" be repaired but at a cost

I'm told that they can be had for $300. There are internal and external wastegate designs, with the latter working out more expensive. Manifolds would cost $500+...
