After several weeks of hearing a loud grinding/vibrating noise coming from under the bonnet of my XR6T, and several trips to the dealer, they finally sorted out what is wrong with my baby!

The air compressor for the air con is stuffed and the air con keeps on cutting in intermittently. The belt is all threaded and there is belt dust all over the engine bay from where it is is shaving it off. The car is booked in to be fixed (hopefully!) 2 morrow morning. Annoying little problems!

Then, it should be smooth cruisin again!!!!!

After 2 days at the dealer, I finally have my turbo home again.

The problem was with the air compressor for the air con and apparently it was really low on gas. So they have fixed the compressor, regassed the air con, changed the belt cos it was all shredded, and adjusted the pulley, and also given it an ECU flash.

Hopefully now all is smooth cruisin again!
