The gt and gt-p too common?

does anyone else feel that ford is making the gt and gt-p 2 common a cheicle perhaps they should limit its production like holden did with the monaro? anyone have similar thoughts or complete opposite thoughts? dont get me wrong i love theses cars soooo beautiful...

Hey 95fairmont,

I agree that they are becoming a little too common (only a little, please don't shoot me you gt and gtp owners!) but i think ford could do more in terms of options for these cars.
for example, hsv have had a track spec option for previous clubbies - this would be orsum.
Maybe some lightweight panel options (carbon fibre etc?) since they aren't in any hurry to bump up the power! yes i know this will cost more but hey, its a start!

I don't think they should make the GT's and GT-Ps limited run as the GT's have always been freely available but they could do more special edition models such as the Cobra which is a limited run. The Cobra's sold out very quick too so there is a market for the specials.

They have a R-Spec Gt and F6 already with more track suited suspension.
