I have recently purchsed a set of Teardrop's that I would like to fit to my XW wagon, Now I am aware that the left hand one sit's further back than the right hand side one,but does anybody here have the measurement's where they are to be mounted as per from the factory on the XY GT's, cheer's.

Re: GT Teardrop's measurement's

Galaxy are you talking about "teardrop style" bonnet scoops on XA GT's?

Re: GT Teardrop's measurement's

Sorry no not the bonnet scoop's, the teardrop mirror's, I need the mearsurement where they sit in refrence to how far back from the front of the door, the LHS one sit's further back so that the quarter window dosnt block the veiw,I just need to know how far each side sit's back,
If you could get a photo Fordy or measure them it would be great, cheer's.

Re: GT Teardrop's measurement's

Sorry to hijack the thread but does anyone know if XY GT's had remote mirror on the RHS and what do you think these are worth, thanks.

Cheers

Re: GT Teardrop's measurement's

That's just what I needed Thank's Fordy, just one more question though, when sitting in the car and looking into the driver's side mirror does the mirror show the rear good enough because when I put my teardrop on my driver's side it needed to be raised so I could see up a bit more but I couldn't adjust it any further, or is it just me, cheer's.

Re: GT Teardrop's measurement's

To be honest mate i dont use them, they're so small and are tight against the window, you can see out of the drivers one a bit but i dont rely on them.
