the haltech interceptor is much like the xede (infact, its the same housing, i enquired about them possibly being the same and rebadged, however, their 'apparently not')

if you want more information, call them up..

In my opinion, interceptors are a patch job.. But until now, we had no real choice..

But i must say, why dont you check out the new range of 'EDITERS' that recently come out.

There is quite a few of them, and are pretty close being realised.

You will be able to control your ecu with far better accuracy than with a interceptor

Dont know if you are able to fit aftermarket computers easily in the BA's but might be worth checking out some of the full aftermarket systems like the EMS 4424 or 8860, Haltech and Wolf systems. They aren't that much more expensive compared with interceptors, and will give you full control.

EDXR8: this is a BA he is talking about.. Do you understand the complications that come along with replacing the ecu with a full aftermarket one?

Only suggesting the possibility, I assume it will be difficult in the BA's although most aftermarket systems work in conjunction with the factory EEC. The edits will be a far easier solution once developed and the tuners get their heads around it, doesn't seem too far away though.

you could go piggy back with an aftermarket ecu , but they never work properly always have some niggling little issues.
I have heard a rumor that there may be some edits available soon for your car.
i have tried contacting haltech myself and they give very little help. I doun't think they make this unit. they just promote it and that is why they don't know much about it.
