Hello all,
I have a problem with my EBII ford Ghia where the heater fan motor surges when on low speed. If I turn it up to about 4 or 5 the problem goes away. Every time the heater fan motor surges the voltage gauge flicks down a notch and then returns to the original spot. Each surge goes off about every two seconds. I was thinking it may be the fan motor resistor. Does anyone have any idea what is happening to the fan motor?

do your headlight get brighter as well,check if your alternator is not overcharging,voltage should be round 13.8 to 14.2 volts.

Reece,
No, the gauge sits on about 14 and flicks down to about 13.5. The lights aren't dimming that I can see either.
