Yeah from top to bottom. I need to know the height cause I'm looking at putting the motor into a TD corty and I need to know if its gonna fit under the bonnet. Thanks

i would guess there the same as eb depending on what inlet u have i will get the tape out later while im doing some work on my eb and find out

i forgot to post this yesterday but from top to bottom the 4.0l is around 65cm top to bottom but if u put the fancy inlet on it it would be higher

ive also got a td cortina, which was when i bought it and still is all engineeded for a 351 clevo. i was going to put a 4.0l in it so i could drive it on my p's, but found the length way out. the rocker cover was the same length as the firewall to the radiator. and the 6cyl cortys allready had the firewall pushed back to fit the 250.
it can be done. but a hot 6 or v8 conversion could be easier.

Is that from the rocker cover to (and including) the engine mounts?

from the top of the rocker cover to the bottom of the sump
