Hello all nice to find a forum like this :)

I recently bought a AU III forte and it is my 1st decent car worth over $1000 and I think its money well spent.The more I drive it the more I love it..

I'm in need of a lil advice if anyone out there feels like helping me, all I really know about cars is how to change the tire and switch the car on, hehe.

The AU III i bought has 43000km's on the clock and is basically stock standard, I'm looking at ways to "spruce" the look of it up , Mag's, bodykits etc but have no idea which products to go for or what brands are worth buying.

Do xr6 and BA mags fit onto Au III's?
What sort of body kits should I look for?
How to get a lil more power out of the engine without having to spend a fortune?

I seem to have run into probs with the au III when looking at stuff for it as most ppl out there seem to have either AU xr6's Xr8's or BA's.
I wouldve really loved a BA as I took a test drive in 1 BUT was just that lil bit out of my price range :(

most xr6 mags(except previous models ie EL backwards) fiit on. BA Mags also fiton..

Look for a TS50 or C2R Bodykit. They are the best out there for the AU imo..

to get a little more pep out of the beast,

you could do the following...

K&N Panel Filter, Tickford Snorkel, Full Exhaust System (Extractors, 2 1/2 Manderal Bent Exhaust)... After that you could look at changing the Cam as well.

AUIII's well, they seem to go alright, as far as I can tell anyway he he. Whereabouts are you located? I think one of the best ways to get around what you want for your car is to come out on FF cruises and meet some of the guys here have done with their cars.

I might also suggest a visit at aufalcon.com - there's a motley collection of AU's with assorted mods worth browsing through.

I'm from adelaide and when I get my P's I'll enhance the look of my AU III to celebrate..

24 years old and no licence is not very fun :(

As far as bodykits go, u can't look past a TS50 kit.. My mate has a AU, fairmont i think it is with a the full TS kit on it.. looks really nice.. also with baxr8 wheels.. def the best looking au u can get

Yes welcome to ford central now go the TS50 kit with the BAxr8 rims very tidy for power it all depends on $$$$$$$$$$$$$ and time so open up your air intake get a chip extractors decent sized exhaust 2 1/2 up that will cost about 3-4 G. So good luck
