Hi, i got an Ef falcon cheep and need to start it.... it was stolen and ignition is smashed... all i have left is the wires that were connected to the ignition .... i would like to start it and try to get it back on the road.... the wires i have are: yellow: yellow/blue: red/black: black: yellow/red:and green: it is in realy good condition and would hate to start stripping it to find it was a good car... if anyone can help me connect the right wires and start it safely ,it would be greatly appreciated... thank you...

you got that from broadford car sales didnt you? best bet would be to get another ignition and a set of keys. ford should be able to help you out with the wiring. i dont think its a real good idea to post up how to hot wire a car on a public forum.

no i got it from a council auction, i seen the value in parts, but being a bad ford fan i dont want to strip a nice car like this,,,, but i have spent too much buying it, to start spending money on a car i'm spose to make money out of... if you know what i mean..... can we get together some were else to try to help me?

ok id still go in and see ford spare parts. find out what you need to know and then go to your local wreckers and get the parts you need. as for making money you have 2 options. not knowing what you paid, how many KMs are on it, or what the spec level is doesnt really help but you will be able to decide what is the best option.
first option. strip it and hope for the best. if its high KMs then parts are usually gonna be worn and be worth less. but if you got it cheap enough you may be able to make profit.
second. spend the money and fix it. get a RWC and sell it for more than you paid. if you got it really cheap and it isnt a bucket of crap you could get yourself a couple of thousand profit.
like i said though, this all depends on the car. factor in: rust, KMs, straightness of panels, quality of interior, spec level (GLi-Fairmont Ghia) any mods like rims, exhaust and lastly what YOU paid for it and what people would pay for what you have.
