alright fellas, I have decided that I am now a "soon to be" Ford owner.
After doing some number crunching I have narrowed my options down to two models. The BA XT V8 sedan or the BA XR8 Ute. The ute will cost me $3k more drive away.
What are your opinions on which model I should get? My priorities are performance, then safety, then comfort, then resale value.
Like what bossxr8 said the ute's have allway's had a better resale value then the sedan's but depend's on what your own need's are, if you can get away with only transporting 2 people than go for the ute most definetly, the sedan would probably be more comfy than the ute but that of course will come down to personal choice,I for sure would be quite happy with the suspension on the ute even if it wasn't as good as a sedan, but on performance I think the ute will win this one, go for the bulge mate.

TIA.
Is your priority to have a back seat to carry people? If not go with the UTE!!!!!!!! I had an XCGXLV8 for 7 years, now I drive a UTE. There is no turning back. Plus you are not picked on to transport people everywhere then. If u need the back seat, then go XR6T.
Another thing to think of is how soon to you want the car.
When I was ordering my XR8 sedan on Saturday the dealer said XR8 Ute have a longer wait than the sedans. Where as the XT wouldn't be that long a wait. Personally I would go the XR8 Ute.
